Shower

My amazing friends and sister put together the most amazing shower at my house this weekend. It was such a nice break from bed rest (even though I sat most of the time) and I am so appreciative of everyone who came by to celebrate baby Trevor!

Nursery

Bed rest has made getting the nursery all put together a little challenging, but thanks to Justin, it is ready for Trevor and just the way I wanted it!

The mobile Justin made from antique fishing stuff....

The crib full of all the loot!

We had the idea to have each family member paint a picture for the nursery. They turned out so cute. Oliver had a blast painting for his brother!

Justin also painted this whale to hang in the room!

Now all we need is baby!

Halloween

We got invited to the Fed Ex Halloween party this year, which was so much fun. Oliver got to see all the big planes and trucks and got to trick or treat around the different booths. He mainly just wanted suckers! Justin and I enjoyed Halloween, because since Oliver is allergic to peanuts, for his safety we had to eat all the Snickers, Reese's, etc. Tough job, but someone has to do it. Here are some pics from the night.

Our conductor, ready for candy!

More please!

Justin and Oliver in front of the big plane. Oliver loved seeing the planes and we even got to go out on the runway and watch some of the planes land.

He got a spider tattoo.

Very content with his sucker. Such a sweet boy.

A Day Out with Thomas

These pictures are from a month or two ago, but we took Oliver to see Thoas the Train in Oklahoma City. Anyone who has been around Oliver knows how much he loves Thomas and all of his friends. He had so much fun and we got lots of cute pictures.

Here comes Thomas!

Bounce House!

Sir Topham Hat

He loved Sir Topham hat!

My two sweet boys- Oliver loved riding on Thomas.

Cheese!

The conductor had our attention.

He didn't want to miss anything!

So much fun!

Big kisses.

He loved all the train tables.

Thomas!

Baby Trevor

Mark your calendars.... baby Trevor will be here on November 30, 2011 unless he has a different plan. I am currently on bed rest and will be here until he makes his arrival. Bed rest is miserable, especially at a time you want to be getting everything ready for the new arrival. Oliver is so excited to meet his brother and talks about him and to him all the time.
A special thanks to everyone who has called, stopped by and offered to help with Oliver.
A real big special thanks to Justin- sometimes I forget how lucky I am. Oliver, Trevor and I are lucky to have him. Just yesterday he came home from work, cleaned the house (we had a showing) then after dinner, got everything ready for school, gave Oliver his bath, put Oliver down for bed, went back to work until the wee hours of the morning, then got up, got Oliver ready for school and made me breakfast. He deserves a gold medal!

Oliver!

Goofy boy- he had just had a sucker and I was trying to show him that his tongue was red, but he just liked me taking his picture then looking at in on my phone.

My sweet friend Allison brought him some stickers!

One of Justin and Oliver's favorite new activities is to go on "adventures"..... Oliver always has so much fun and I love when they get home and he tells me all about them. He tells me about the lions and whales that they saw.... I love his imagination.

More adventures.....

Justin and Oliver ventured up to the fairgrounds and ran into my friend Lindsay. She let Oliver get up close with her horse Frasier. He talked about this all night!

We took Oliver to the petting zoo and he loved the goats. He is such an animal lover (he gets that from Justin).... one of the turkeys at the petting zoo but his finger. If you are ever around him, he'll tell you ALL about it.

Oliver was spending the night with Granny and wanted his hair curled... too cute!

Oliver is very into "helping"- here is he helping me cook. He is actually just stirring candy corn in a bowl, but he had a blast. He has started getting to do different jobs at school. He loves getting to be the book helper, line leader and prayer helper. Hopefully he is ready to be the diaper, feeding, burping helper when Trevor gets here! Just kidding.

Oklahoma has been having some weird earthquakes the last couple of weeks. This was after bath one night, between the cookie and the television, the quake did not bother him a bit.

For Halloween, Oliver was a train conductor. He did not want his picture taken, but here is an idea of his costume.

Little ham!

This is what happens when mom does bath....
